Modeling Stories: iPhotograph – iModel
For those who still don’t know my story (there are those who know my work and still don’t realize I’m a female photographer), I modeled in the urban world for about 3 years. I’m satisfied with my past accomplishments but I’m looking for something different. I still remain on email blasts of castings from various sources and more often than not, will send my pictures out to be considered if something interests me.
Last night I had to take some candids because an agency’s client was interested in my look. It’s for a job that, if booked, would bring me to Bangkok and pay $5,000 to do so! Commercial work pays! Don’t sleep on it! It’s been a while since I’ve had time to be in pictures myself but it reminded me how much I enjoy being in front of the camera as well.

Ill probably blog about my journey as a commercial model. I need headshots and to totally redo my portfolio. The clients I want to book me have no use for lingerie pictures (which is why your portfolio should be versatile). Who does a photographer go to when they need to be photographed? We’ll see. Ill probably still take my own pictures. Takes a while but for me, it’s much easier.
I have work to do. I want to lose some weight (personal preferrence) and Im undecided on what to do with my hair. I need something that makes me standout while still being acceptable to conservatives. I’d like to cut my hair but that’s a commitment I haven’t committed to yet. Well … wish me luck.
